At this time, our wellness if so important, so I sat down with Dr Carrie Kollias, a consultant paediatric orthopaedic surgeon who heralds from Canada but now works at the Royal Childrens Hospital, Melbourne. We learn about her journey into the specialty, her experiences of fellowship and what her practice now consists of, before delving into the topics of diversity in orthopaedics & surgery, the importance of physician wellness and how to recognise and manage burnout.
