About this session

The orthohub team is thrilled to be bring you this webinar

Recognising, treating and avoiding nerve injuries is a huge part of what we do as orthopaedic surgeons. However, for most of us there are still gaps in our knowledge. This webinar will empower viewers to make good clinical decisions and avoid complications. First, we’ll dispel some of the common myths about nerve injury and take a contemporary look at what every orthopod should know. We will cover recognition and treatment of acute injuries, relevant anatomy, how to stay out of trouble during upper and lower limb surgery, tips on clinical examination, and thresholds for referral.

Our speakers are peripheral nerve surgeons from renowned centres across the UK and USA. Tom Quick from RNOH Stanmore will be our host, and he’ll be joined by CY Ng from Wrightington, Christopher Dy from Washington University, and Kate Brown from Queens Medical Centre. A great line up that promises to be a great event!

Target audience: all orthopaedic practitioners, from consultants/attending grades through to surgical trainees, PAs, nurse specialists and plaster technicians. Industry colleagues welcome faculty.

The Royal College of Surgeons England has awarded upto 3.5 CPD points for this session
