Tricia Campbell

BOTA President 2019-20

Tricia Campbell is an Orthopaedic registrar in the North East, She is currently out of programme working as a Leadership and Management Fellow at Health Education England (HEE). In this role she has chaired her local Trainee Executive Forum, Quality assessed the Foundation Programme locally, sat on ARCP appeals panels, been a part of national programmes of wok focused on improving trainee experience and wellbeing.

Tricia was elected as President of British Orthopaedic Trainees Association (BOTA) in November 2019, prior to this she held the roles of  Secretary and BMA rep.

Medical Education is an area that Tricia is passionate about. She is currently working on her Masters dissertation which will explore the reasons for different attainment amongst surgical trainees.

Tricia has combined her love of motorsports and trauma by working as a motorsport medic. Croft, in Darlington, is her home circuit and she is part of the medical team for Formula 1 at Silverstone.
