Mike Barrett

Mike studied medicine at the University of Liverpool, graduating in 2009.  He undertook a PGCert Med Ed.

He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2019.

Mike is an specialist trainee year 8 on the Cambridge orthopaedic rotation.

Mike was awarded the BOFAS travelling fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in 2019.

Mike is currently on an out of program for training experience at the Royal London Hospital.

Mike has an extensive history with creating online platforms for education. He established the East of England regions website, and also the patient information portal Fracture Info, among others.

Mike enjoys running and skiing.  His specialist interest is in major trauma reconstruction, and foot and ankle surgery. Mike is due to go on his fellowship to Sydney Australia any time now!
